Innovative Cyber Security Engineer

Your role

As a member of X Innovation Lab you will be able to share your own ideas and insights with a large and changing company while at the same time helping others to realize their ideas. Our purpose is to evolve our way of working and to remove obstacles and obstructions - both for developers and for managers. We support our organization when and where it needs a helping hand - which right now means a lot of work in AI, ML, robotics and DevSecOps.

But X Innovation Lab is not about working with today - we mainly work with tomorrow, which means that we are currently looking at emerging technologies like RISC-V and Quantum computing as well as finding ways to move towards more secure and robust implementations of our current technology - like the cloud.

In this context we need to dive deeper into the realm of Cyber Security and we are now looking for new talent to join our team and inspire us to be better.
The main tasks:

Assert the risks that comes with certain new technologies

Bring new and innovative ways of delivering secure solutions

Help educate the organization in safety and security
*

Identify and clean sensitive data from large datasets

Process improvement



Your profile

We are looking for you who have worked with designing and implementing cyber security solutions at scale. You should be someone who is not afraid to express your ideas and have many ideas to share. You will be working as part of a team but you should also be able to work on your own and take responsibility for your time and work.

Required skills:

*

3+ years of working with and implementing IT security solutions
*

Ability to prepare and maintain solution documentation, including security, configuration, and CONOPS
*

Bachelor/Master's degree in Software engineering, similar education or equivalent experience
*

Problem solving
*

Analytical
*

Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written



Desired skills:

*

Knowledge in security surrounding quant computing, AI and other upcoming technologies
*

Advanced certifications such as SANS GIAC/GCIA/GCIH, CISSP or CASP and/or SIEM-specific training and certification



This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

You will be part of X Innovation Lab at Saab Surveillance in Göteborg, Surveillance, a Business Area within Saab, is a world-leading supplier of systems for detection of threats and self-protection. Business Unit Radar Solutions is responsible for Radar in airborne-, surface- and naval systems.

X Innovation Lab is a group working with new technology and new ways of working within Saab Radar Solutions in Göteborg. We do research and create prototypes that are used in the on-going development of Saab's products.
