Inplant technician to Sun Chemical

Sun Chemical is the world´s largest producer of printing inks and pigments and the leading provider of materials to packaging, publication, coatings, plastics, cosmetics, and other industrial markets including electronic materials, functional and specialty coatings, brand protection and product authentication technologies.

Purpose of this job is to support and execute the Inplant procedures inside customer site. It is a technical support role executing necessary technical, sales, laboratory and operations projects at customer premises. You will work closely with Inplant supervisor and act as a temporary replacement, if needed.

Your responsibilities are to execute ink production in print house, manage stock levels of dispenser components and ready made products, manage Press Return Handling, execute Colour Matching and support at press-side. You will also take care of drive root cause analysis and corrective actions in ink related performance problems, initiate and manage maintenance program of Inplant equipment and for instance manage Ink Supply/waste statistics. Also role includes managing and executing the 5S and EHS related tasks at Inplant.
You will be the primary Sun Chemical representative on the customer´s site.

We are looking for someone, who can make a real impact in this role.
You will possess good communication and decision making skills. Experience of technical problem solving and inplant systems and procedures, alongside a good knowledge of dispense and colour management equipment would also be required. You will be flexible, have good colour vision as well as a keen eye for detail. You are a stress tolerant and proactive. You will be able to implement and maintain systems, that will ensure that the performance of the team is at the highest level in order to achieve both Sun Chemical´s and our customer´s objectives.

Qualifications:
• Ability speak and write fluently Swedish and preferably English.
• Basic mathematic skills
• Basic IT skills
• Basic SAP skills preferred
• Customer service minded
• Good knowledge of printing processes, flexo and/or gravure
• Knowledge of printing inks, colour matching, ink dispensing and related
• Very independent and proactive
• Target oriented
• Willingness to learn and develop own competences
