Alfa Laval Nordic Service organization work in the aftermarket product & services for the Nordic Energy, & Food & Water industries. We are now looking for a candidate within inside sales having good technical skills combined with a commercial mindset.
Responsibilities
In the Inside Sales role, you will be responsible for selling Alfa Laval products and services within Nordic and providing direct support to customers, including complex quotations and advanced technical support (including sizing & selection). You will support our service market within our main product groups being heat exchangers, separators, and decanter centrifuges. On top of that Alfa Laval also have other products installed in the Nordic countries, which you will also come across.
Your main task will be to handle complex quotes and orders reflecting the customer needs. Furthermore, a key task is to provide direct support to customers during the quotation/order process. This also includes technical support for Alfa Laval Products and services in the Nordic market. Moving forward, this role will also include sales responsibility and accountability for some customers.
In addition, following are key tasks in this role:
* Follow up on quotes
* Follow up and incoming tasks from our external sales
* Follow up on customer repairs in our Service centers
* Create a network in the organization
* Create, follow up and close leads proactively
* Handling of our Chat Function on our Webpage
* Be an advanced user in our order and quote handling system
* Use our CRM Tool and other tools
As we have an ever-changing workday it is important that you can follow and support our Sales processes and able to take decisions based on those. It is also super important that you are active in active in building up new sales processes so that we work as efficient as possible in our daily interactions with colleagues and customers.
The mission is to create a high customer satisfaction by delivering service’s that is creating customer superior experiences in their dealings with Alfa Laval. This task shall be solved together with your colleagues, as being a team player is important when working for Alfa Laval.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position you need to be a technical oriented team player. You are accurate, structured, and have a flair for developing and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues over the phone & virtual meetings.
You need to be sales focused and with the ability to have – and even like – handling more than one thing at a time. You act fast on customer requests and understand the importance to act correctly and get things done. You are resilient and maintain a positive attitude in the face of setbacks and obstacles. You are proactively, dare to take initiatives and calculated risks to exceed expectations and achieve business results.
A technical education and experience/knowledge of Alfa Laval products will be an advantage. You need to have a curiosity, and an eager to learn, and work proactive to find your own path and create a network inside the organization. You own a naturel desire and flair for solving technical challenges, either by yourself or in collaboration with workshops, or colleagues.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and the ability to learn and understand other business-related systems is an advantage.
You master Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Understanding of other Nordic languages especially Finnish will be an advantage.
Practicalities
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, your working place will be in Tumba.
