Olink Proteomics AB is a rapidly growing biotechnology company with a world leading technology and product portfolio for protein biomarker discovery and development with the mission to drive precision medicine. Our technology Proximity Extension Assay (PEA) can measure close to 1500 biomarkers at the same time, in only 3 µL of sample. The analysis enables a deeper understanding of disease processes, improved disease detection and contribute to increased biological knowledge.
In seven years, we have analyzed close to two million samples and generated more than 170 million data points for hundreds of customers from both research institutes and pharmaceutical companies
Inside Sales Representative
We are looking for an energetic person to generate leads through prospecting activities, qualify leads coming from marketing, and support the Business Development Manager (BDM) territory plans by performing directed tasks. As a member of a growing team, applicants should also be comfortable taking on additional roles within a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Qualify leads from marketing and other sources as needed
• Develop and implement a proactive strategy for prospecting new business in coordination with BDMs
• Customer outreach for qualified leads resulting from marketing campaigns
• Triage in-bound customer inquiry and follow-up, in coordination with BDMs, in an effort to convert these inquiries into qualified leads and opportunities
• Support BDMs by:
• Using available tools to find the top prospective leads
• Map out accounts, departments, and labs
• Identify new industry accounts
• Run internal reports for dormant customers, samples in-house, etc.
• Identify Shared Resources, Proteomics, and other ‘omics labs in territories
• Identify labs with a BioMark HD, NovaSeq 6000, or MSD/Luminex instrument
• Schedule meetings for BDMs as needed
• Utilize SalesForce CRM to manage an opportunity pipeline
• Work closely with the BDM team to promote a high level of sales productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
• Demonstrate in both words and actions that meeting customer needs is a priority
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• BS in Biology, Biochemistry, or related life sciences field
• 2+ years bench experience and a strong working knowledge of biological sciences
• Superior time management, planning, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication, specifically phone and email skills
• Ability to travel approximately 10% although position is primarily office based
• Inside sales selling experience is preferred; Salesforce.com experience is a plus
• Experience in a fast paced, high inbound/outbound call and email environment is strongly preferred
