We are looking for new colleagues to fill multiple roles for our ongoing and future projects - professionals, who have a high-level safety and quality focus with a solid technical background and can travel. We want you to join our team and to be part of the fast paced and ever evolving industry.
By joining our team, you will be a part of 8.2 Jemtergi AB, the latest addition to the 8.2 Group with focus on the Nordic countries and assisting our group members in the rest of the world. Starting 1992 8.2 is an international network of currently 35 independent engineering offices with locations in Germany, Brazil, France, Austria, Pakistan, Portugal, Sweden and Spain. Together, the 8.2 specialists (over 150 worldwide) from all offices work closely together under the name 8.2. The individual 8.2 offices support each other in their project work and share their extensive experience and information.
As 8.2 in general, 8.2 Jemtergi AB specializes with passion in the renewable energy sector as well. We predominantly work with wind & solar, and our customers are owners or would be owners of assets and their affiliates E.g., investors, developers, operators etc. that don´t have the necessary “know how” inhouse or see the benefit of outsourcing this.
We offer a wide range of Owners Engineer services. E.g., Technical inspections (ToC, EoW etc.), project TDD´s, contract assessments and Resident Engineer services.
We are looking to strengthen our team with additional turbine inspectors with rope access capabilities. We are looking for both junior and senior colleagues to fill this position. If you are new to the renewable energy sector but have documented rope access experience and would like to evolve in your role you will be considered for the position.

Responsibilities
Inspection of wind turbines (incl. rotor blades) and their components within the scope of various inspection tasks
Damage assessment
Monitoring of repair measures
Implementation of construction progress controls
Evaluation of wind energy projects in the context of technical due diligence
Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the Nordic countries but able to travel across Europe. Due to the nature of the work, we travel up to 180 days per year.



Qualifications
Experience from wind turbine construction or operation is beneficial however some industrial experience is a requirement.
Documented experience or education in the mechanical/electrical field.
Preparedness to reach rope access level 1-3 (preferably IRATA / SPRAT) is a prerequisite. However, experience from rope access is a requirement.
Full GWO course package is a good merit
Health and physique that allows you to obtain a Swedish medical certificate for work at height is a prerequisite. (AFS 2019:3)
European driver's license B is a requirement
Fluent in English both written and spoken is a requirement, Swedish and German is meriting.

Competencies
You need to be a focused and results-orientated person that can keep track of the details as well as having the view on the full width of the project, this all with an emphasis on safety.
You can organize priorities and workloads both independently and as part of a team.
You are easy going and work well in a team-based environment.
Experienced in working in an international work environment understanding the possible cultural and professional differences involved.

Additional information
Primary work location will be Östersund Sweden. However since, a large part of the work is expected to take place at sites across Europe (mainly in the Nordic countries). Where you live is of less importance.
