Designing and developing installation solutions
As Installation Design Engineer in the Installation department you will be working on designing and developing highly reliable installation solutions to be used in the field. The technical documentation is yours to create, this includes drawings, test reports and instructions.
You’re a strong support for the different installation teams with solutions that will lead to a successful execution.

In order to thrive and succeed in the role as Installation Design Engineer at NKT, you must have a high technical interest, have a high sense of responsibility and be open minded and willing to share solutions and competences.
You appreciate taking responsibility for your own work, planning and quality in delivery.
Your technical interest and open mind make you a great team asset; both in collaboration and in the sharing of ideas, solutions and competences. Your service minded approach toward internal clients contributes to clear and open communication, strengthening your understanding of what the technical solution needs to consist of.
To support and improve the way we work during installation, traveling to different sites, suppliers and for meetings is a part of the role.

Additionally, your CV comprises:

* A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
* At least 5 years’ experience of as a Mechanical Engineer.
* Some years of experience of CAD, preferable Solid Works.
* Experience from writing technical reports and instructions is necessary.
* It is meritorious if you have worked in close collaboration with suppliers.
* Experience in working in systems such as MS Office, SAP and Windchill is ideal.
* Your technical English is fluent in both written and spoken form, a requirement for the role. Swedish and/or German is a bonus.
