Drive the installation scope in our global tenders
Keen on joining a diverse team, running tenders in the area of large infrastructure projects aiming to connect a greener world?
Working closely with our international customers, we develop, manufacture and install efficient, environmentally friendly, and technologically advanced high-voltage cables, for land and offshore applications worldwide.
Lead the installation tendering process
Our installation department continues to grow and we are now looking for a new colleague to join our team as Installation Proposal Manager. In this role you will be a part of our tender team, with responsibility for the installation part in our offers. You will actively lead the installation tendering process for all assigned projects and ensure the best execution methodology and commercial solution is offered to our customers.
With your technical interest, and business-minded approach you will work with tendering of large, complex projects, many of which are for major installations. Other responsibilities will include presenting our installation solutions to customers and negotiations with the ambition to achieve success in our tenders, many of which are for major stakeholders on the international market.
Your primary tasks will be:
* Responsibility for installation aspects in the tender from start of tendering to contract award and handover to the project installation department
* Responsibility to deliver high quality tenders, prioritizing appropriately and meeting both customer demands and directives and NKT Installation Strategy
* Develop and maintain relationship with key stakeholders, internally and externally
* Identify, evaluate and negotiate with installation subcontractors
You will be a part of an international and dynamic team placed over different locations. This role will be based in Karlskrona thus require some travelling, approximately 40-60 days/year, both inside and outside of Europe. Communicative and business-oriented team player
To successfully take on this position, you need to be a person who is communicative, independent, driven and who enjoys collaborating and sharing experiences with colleagues. You thrive when collaborating with other internal departments to optimize the technical and commercial solution to our customers. Equally important is your business-oriented mindset, as well as your ability to lead negotiations with subcontractors and understand contractual information.
Additionally, your CV includes:
• BSc or MSc degree preferably within Engineering
• Experience from technical sales or project management
• Have relevant experience and understanding from working in large civil construction projects, or offshore projects
• Fluency in spoken and written English, Swedish and/or German is beneficial
