Instructional Designer

Arbetsbeskrivning

Northvolt has an exciting job offer for an Instructional Designer to join our teams in Skellefteå or Västerås.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories.
The Instructional Designer role will be responsible for developing world class training curriculums and training content to support the development of a next generation industrial training program.
As an Instructional Designer, you will work closely with our program management, process engineering, health & safety, and manufacturing teams to design and produce 21st century, video based training curriculums and training content that is super engaging and incredibly effective.
In general you have experience in developing both digital and in person training content and are an expert in taking complex ideas and breaking them down into simple, easy to understand packets of information.
You will be working with complex manufacturing processes and machines, so a background in manufacturing, engineering, or other technical fields could be a benefit, but is certainly not a requirement.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work with subject matter experts to develop training materials in the appropriate format (In Person, Virtual, Online, etc.) with a focus on video based and online trainings
Develop supporting tools such as manager evaluations, checklists, and visual reminders to support the content that you build
Lead Train-the-Trainer sessions to equip business partners to host sessions where necessary
Develop measurement and assessment tools to evaluate training effectiveness

The person we are looking for is strongly detail and goal oriented, curious and eager to learn. You will get the chance to have a real impact on our success story in Sweden (to start with) and see the results of your work. Our organisation requires and values great self-discipline and a natural talent to make things happen.
The Instructional Designer is a vital member of the Manufacturing Training team and is a key to Northvolt's mission to enable the future of energy.
