Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer join our dynamic team
What you will work on:
Lead the discipline of “Instrumentation and Control” within a unique sustainable fuel production facility project.
Integrate Local Codes into the Project Specification and Plot Plan, ensuring compliance with Swedish requirements and conditions.
Attend Discipline Kick Off Meetings (DKOM) for joint spot reviews with the client to identify any local law and regulation impacts on the design.
Report DKOM outcomes in an action list table and follow up on specifications.
Edit, review, and enhance the Draft Project Specification by incorporating relevant Local Codes.
Provide technical comments and propose modifications based on Local Codes requirements.
Participate actively in resolving any comments or debates with the client regarding compliance.
Monitor the status of each document and the development of services through weekly online meetings.
Ensure a mixed EN/ASME code approach for pressure retaining parts with certified approval.
Implement Pipe Class Index according to the relevant PAS 1057 standard.
Conduct multidisciplinary reviews for all documents as necessary.
What you bring:
Strong understanding of local statutory, regulatory, and normative requirements.
Experience in instrumentation and control disciplines within energy industrial plants.
Ability to effectively incorporate Local Codes into project specifications.
Proactive approach in identifying and highlighting impacts of local laws and regulations.
Proficiency in conducting technical reviews and proposing modifications.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients and resolving comments or debates.
Familiarity with EN/ASME code approach and relevant standards such as PAS 1057.
Attention to detail in considering safety, process, logistics, and operational requirements for the Plot Plan.
Knowledge of electrical design criteria including grounding, lightning, and lighting systems.
