JOB DESCRIPTION:

Objectives
The Husqvarna Legal Affairs Function is divided into three units: Group Legal, Group Insurance and Risk Management and Group Intellectual Property.We are a small team, in the process of building up a function to serve the Husqvarna worldwide business.Fully functional, we will be approximately 20 employees.The Legal Affairs Function will provide advice and support to Group Management as well as to the operational business units.The Group Insurance and Risk Management function is responsible for insurance including Husqvarna's captive insurance companies.The captives are based in North America and Europe and are intended to optimise insurance and risk financing solutions at Group level, always focusing on the total cost of risk.The aim is to reduce volatility as much as possible and to minimize the cost of insurable events.Risks are distributed through different internal and external insurance solutions.

Key operational responsibilities
You will be responsible for independently handling different matters delegated from the Risk Management Director.

Husqvarna will have a global insurance program for property, liability, marine, D & O and crime insurances.You will assist the Risk Management Director in the procurement of the Group's international and global insurances.

You will also assist in coordination and cooperation between the Group's captives in order to minimize costs as well as risks.

A risk policy will be developed for Husqvarna and you will provide support for the business in handling risks, through training and by supervision of the implementation of the risk policy.

You will also facilitate risk management activities by providing professional support to risk owners concerning the insurable risks.

In addition to the above, you may be required to handle special project assignments.

The position will require some travelling.
