To support the business growth we are now looking for a highly motivated and committed Insurance Manager to our office in Karlskrona. 

The position 
This is a position in our Corporate Affairs Team as key stakeholder for project teams dealing with both onshore and offshore, in close interaction with senior project managers throughout the organization.

You will be involved in the enhancement and broadening of the project insurance function for significant projects at NKT, providing your expertise as a valued specialist in this area.

Responsibilities include management of international insurances for various on-/offshore projects, claims management, negotiate with brokers and insurers world-wide, support our tender teams in the entire life-cycle of construction all-risk exposures and negotiation of CAR insurances, provide internal training and raise awareness etc. 

Your tasks include:
•   Insurance advisor in regard to large-scale offshore and onshore projects including support to our tender teams in the entire life-cycle
•   Consolidate and analyze project data to expand and maintain internal risk assessments
•   Collaborate both external and internal on insurance, identification of exposures, implementation of best practices, gathering underwriting data, designing and placing appropriate coverage
•   Facilitate internal training and workshops 

You will report directly to Director and Head of Project & Corporate Insurance and be part of a team in continuous development.

We are looking for a stellar insurance manager with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset. It is important to have proven competencies in building, sustaining, and influencing relations with the ability to navigate in a truly international organization and influence important stakeholders.

In addition to this you have high intellectual and analytical capacity; an innovative and motivated individual who handles complex matters in a systematic and structured way. Your proficient communication skills make it possible for you to express thoughts freely and cultivate a shared sense of investment and accountability. 

The ideal candidate comes with +5 years of experience from a similar role in an internationally well-reputed company, an insurance broker or insurance company.  Experience with offshore project risks and driving optimization and efficiency processes across an organization is a plus. 

Your CV comprises a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration or other relevant education from a recognized university and fluency in English.
