My name is Helena Gouveia and I am the Country Marketing Manager at IKEA Retail Sweden, Service Office in Helsingborg. I manage a diverse team that are specialized in different areas within marketing communication/media/loyalty and together we are responsible for optimizing and constantly developing the IKEA brand in the mother market Sweden.
Would you like to be responsible for leading the Integrated Media team, defining new media strategies to maximize our marketing ROI, grow our business and deliver extraordinary results?
Who you are
You have good leadership capabilities including ability to lead peers and stakeholders while communicating in an inspirational way with the IKEA tone of voice combined with strong interpersonal skills. You possess good knowledge of change management methods and tools as well as stakeholder management.
You have deep knowledge of budgeting for multichannel marketing as well as of media landscape and interplay between paid, earned, and owned channels, on and offline. You have broad knowledge of the development towards an Omni channel reality in Retail home furnishing as well as of Marketing Technology (e.g. DMP, DSP’s etc.) and other tools (e.g. econometrics) as well as of IKEA multichannel reality and online customer behaviors.
You have ability to understand the complexity of business and the role of Commercial as an integrated part of the business. Furthermore, you have strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions with speed and simplicity as well as ability to take a holistic view of a global organization and identify business opportunities.
Your responsibilities
In the role as Country Integrated Media Manager, you will:
• Act as a member of the Marketing Management team and proactively contribute the marketing plan and output to deliver to the common objectives and goals
• In collaboration with the Communication team, manage the strategy, planning, execution and optimizing the use of owned, earned, and paid media channels to maximize commercial impact, drive business results and improve cost efficiency of results
• Be responsible for strategy, planning, execution and optimizing all use of owned, earned, and paid media channels to maximize commercial impact, drive business results and improve cost efficiency of results
• Be responsible for managing local media agency relationships to meet Country Marketing needs and improve ROI of Marketing
• Be responsible for securing metrics to understand media performance, and identify needs and gaps (in cooperation with Insights team) to meet business and marketing objectives
• Be responsible for securing good media governance and accountability by leading the work with media agencies and key media and platform vendors
