We're now looking for a senior Integration Architect with responsibility to plan, architect and realize integrations based on the business needs and business benefits. With your help, we will ensure that the design of our integrations is in accordance with our architecture principles, chosen integration patterns and functional and non-functional needs.
You will join a small and competent team, where we work closely to learn from and support each other. We are responsible for designing and implementing integration solutions that connect disparate systems, applications, and data sources. We collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, assess existing architectures, and develop comprehensive integration strategies. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.

You will be responsible for:
Design, development and some support of multiple integration solutions throughout the organization, ensuring modern architecture, performance, and security aspects.
Develop architectural designs, data models, and integration patterns while evolving the Integration Platforms in line with Enterprise Architecture and industry standards to ensure cost-effectiveness, business value, usability, efficiency, maintenance, and scalability.
Work closely with application owners and architects in the organization to understand business requirements and translate them to integration solution designs.
Guide and mentor the integrations development and support team, ensuring timely and high-quality integration delivery.
Design, architect and lead migration of legacy integrations and drive continuous improvement, reducing technical debt, and enhancing end-to-end business value.
Participate in internal and external activities related to technology matching and selection to ensure technology choice aligns with overall tech architecture and business strategy.
Work closely with suppliers in evaluating new platforms and capabilities and work on proof of concepts and prototypes.
Ensure high quality of developed technical solutions through peer review, automations and defining guidelines.
Stay updated on market trends and propose innovative approaches to maximize IT's impact on the business, contributing to IT-wide initiatives in integration.
Create knowledge repository and necessary documentation.
The position is permanent with a 6-month probationary period starting by agreement. Working from home or at the office? We usually say "team over individual" and expect you to be at the office when needed, plain and simple.
To be successful in the role, we would like you to have the following:
10+ years of overall experience with 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Cloud technologies.
5+ years of experience as an architect, primarily in Microsoft Azure solutions development and architecture.
Extensive hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure platform especially working with Azure storage, Event grid, Azure Entra, Azure app services, Function Apps and Azure API management.
Development experience in programming languages such as PowerShell, C#, Python.
Experience in development, automated deployment (CI/CD) of integration solutions for large organizations.
Experience working with version control software (Azure DevOps, GitHub etc.)
Experience with a sprint-based agile way of working and knowledge of tools like Azure devOps, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow.
Knowledge of application and network security, firewall, DNS.
An academic degree such as civil engineer/computer engineer
It’s meritorious if you have:
Hands-on experience in Microsoft Biztalk.
Knowledge and experience working with performance testing methodologies and tools.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).
Experience with code quality check tools such as SonarQube, Coverity or similar.
Knowledge and experience working with Kafka or Solace.
