Foundational Products & Chapters is part of Technology, a new function within Volvo Group Digital & IT with a big stake in the Group’s digital transformation. Technology will modernize Volvo’s core digital backbone making it a platform for digital products. Foundational Products & Chapters are responsible for API & Integration, DevSecOps, Cloud and Development Platforms. Our Foundational IT products are used by digital product teams and enable them and their products to outperform Volvo’s competitors. Our digital talents develop capabilities and digital technologies to improve business performance and create value for the Group with speed and at scale.


We collaborate with other parts of the organization, both in Group Digital & IT and the rest of the Volvo Group. We foster an environment where ideas, thoughts and opinions can be shared. We are team players with clear common ambitions, and we win together.


This is how you can make an impact

We are looking for a skilled Integration Architect with passion for Integration, high & low-level design, good knowledge and understanding of IBM platforms (IBM MQ, IIB, APIC, APP Connect) as well as Cloud Integration technologies.


Our Integration Architects have opportunities to work directly in projects, developing process, methods, and tools, delivering training or working in Research and Development initiatives supporting the digitalization journey of the Volvo Group.


MAIN ACTIVITIES:
Responsible for creating Volvo Integration Standards in cooperation with corporate functions
Involvement and active contribution to strategic projects
Contribute and present findings within internal global communities
Contribute to the internal documentation
Project / Maintenance assignment
Responsible for the design and delivery of integration solutions following common approved processes
Combine and match business needs with integration solutions, as part of a project team
Participate in reviews of integration concepts and solutions within the integration community
Contribute to Steering Committees when required
Build and perform presentations of Integration solutions to stakeholders (Business and IT)

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Expert level experience within Integration and architecture practices
Understand and working knowledge with Enterprise integration patterns
University/Master’s degree in informatics or equivalent
Working with business stakeholders
Eager to learn and work with your own development
Excellent communication skills and capability to participate in integration/architectural forums
