Who We Are
At Volvo Cars, we are always looking for world-class leaders who bring out the best in our people. If you want to be part of leading and inspiring our mission to change the automotive experience and make people’s lives less complicated, then we have the job for you. At Complete Software Integration & Release (CSIR), we design rigs and work with base technology integration, core systems application integration, and software and electronic domain integration, all the way to complete software and electronics delivery. We strive to maximize test-value, enable continuous integration, and operate the complete baseline. Our expanding software factory community is responsible for building our continuous build and configuration flow across R&D.

What You'll Do
As an Integration Leader with a focus on Complete Integration and Release, you will belong to the Integration & Verification Orchestration team within CSIR. Your assignment will be to coach and lead the integration of a complete baseline, safeguarding the quality and intent of Baseline Qualification and Extended Testing over time. You will orchestrate the integration flow at the complete level, collaborating with integration leaders at all engineering units within Volvo Cars. Your role includes driving the daily work from merge to release, prioritizing incoming requests, reviewing content and test results, and initiating fault tracing. You will work closely with various stakeholders both inside and outside R&D, ensuring that we always have a working master and providing data-driven recommendations for continuous decisions.

Who You Are
We are looking for candidates who are already experienced in leading and managing people indirectly, demonstrating strong leadership skills, including leading through leaders. You should have a M.Sc in Electrical and Software Engineering or similar relevant experience, and at least 10 years of experience in integration-driven development, including software test and integration. You should have hands-on experience in large-scale software product development, knowledge of SW CI and CD from an integration perspective, and the ability to evaluate the definition of done for integration events in an electrical system. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fluency in English, and the ability to lead people with a holistic view are essential. Experience in the automotive industry and working in an international environment is meritorious. Leadership skills, especially leading through leaders, are crucial to inspire and guide your team effectively.
