Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions (SMF) is a business area segment within Sandvik Group with around 1,500 people worldwide incorporating the three divisions of Design & Planning Automation, Additive Manufacturing and Metrology. Our ambition is to grow the business to 6 billion SEK until 2025 through organic and acquisitional growth.
We’re now looking for an Integration Manager – someone who wants to be part of an informal culture with a great amount of freedom. We offer you an international setting working with our companies within digital manufacturing and an opportunity to actually impact and develop our way of integrating new companies to Sandvik.
The job
In this position, you lead our integration projects ensuring that they are achieved with successful results and, you continuously work with process improvements – in integration but also in M&A from a larger perspective. You’re responsible for some of the standard processes within M&A, such as reviews and documentation, and you act in close collaboration with the divisions within SMF, Sandvik Group functions and the acquired companies to ensure successful integrations. All in all, together with your team, you work to build an organization and a way of working that will contribute to our Business Area segment (SMF) growth journey – a truly important work to say the least.
In this position, you report to the Head of M&A for Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions and actively contribute in SMF Strategy and M&A management team. Our headquarters are at brand new offices in ‘Gasverket’ in central Stockholm, and this is also where you most likely will be based. Global travel is a natural part of the job.
About you
We’re looking for someone with a university degree within a relevant field. You have several years’ experience from driving projects containing a number of different members and stakeholders, and if you also have a background in M&A and integration work its beneficial. Working in a truly global environment calls for excellent English skills, writing and in verbally.
Your personality is important to us. You’re an independent doer with a strong drive who enjoys working in a setting where you get to plan your own time. At the same time, you can be described as a team player that doesn’t hesitate to lend a helping hand to your colleagues. This combined with your communicative skills gives you the ability to easily facilitate collaboration with people all over our global organization.
