YOU WILL
As our new Integration Manager you will be a part of our team in Operations, helping our customers to grow their business sustainable and reducing carbon footprint by applying smart automation & robotic solutions. You will be responsible for the integration of the different sub-systems and equipment (internal and external) in an Integrated Material Handling Project. You will make sure that the different sub-systems and our Warehouse Management System technically and functionally work together. The role is dynamic, and you will work with customers from various industries and be the technical liaison to colleagues and other involved stakeholders.
Other tasks and responsibilities are to:
- Coordinate the integration of the material handling sub-systems.
- Plan, organize and fulfil in due time all sub-system Acceptance Tests and the Operational Ramp-Up for the project in collaboration with the Project Manager and Software Project Manager
- Plan, organize and fulfil in due time together with the Software Project Manager all integration tests between the sub-systems and the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Be on-site responsible for planning and organizing all Swisslog activities concerning tests and also being the contact person, clarifying that agreed End User obligations are accomplished
YOU ARE
You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to manage a wide range of technical related tasks, working with an experienced team of professional Engineers and Project Managers is important. We believe in and value team-players that are open and curious towards teammates. Sharing knowledge is an important part of our culture and we believe that comes naturally to you.
We think you have several years of industrial experience and practical experience within integrated Material Handling Systems and electrical/controls engineering. You have a good understanding of integrated logistics systems and an understanding of logistic processes. General understanding of Sub system equipment is significant. Excellent word processing and spreadsheet skills are needed and experience from Sub-systems such as pallet system, light good systems, controls, SW and simulation is highly meritorious. We also expect you to have a minimum of BSc degree in a related field.
