Integration Service Centre provides a crucial part of the shared services in IKEA Business Solutions. We now strengthen the support for business development to make the difference which is required for the growing IKEA. We are therefore looking for two solution architects that will join the Inflow and Design team within Integration Service Centre.

We want to find the people that don't hesitate to take onto challenges and accept more responsibility whenever that is required. We seek service minded persons that quite simply will do the needful in order to deliver and thereby create trust among our stakeholders.

As a Solution Architect within IKEAs global Integration Service Centre you are responsible for the creation and implementation of the high level design of our Integration Solutions.
You will be responsible for the High level Design in context of new Integration Solutions or changes on existing Integrations in close cooperation with an Integration Lead. You will create an architecture that steers projects to follow decided architecture standards and enables the fulfilment of the functional and non-functional requirements in the solution. Leading and participating in architecture activities within feasibility studies, projects and reviews, establishing architecture decisions and provide architecture expertise for roadmaps that describe the future of our Integration landscape and Infrastructure platforms is also part of the assignment. You will be working with various stakeholders to capture and document the requirements, as well as govern that the design of changes conforms to the desired architecture and support the life cycle management of our products and services with architecture advice.

Is this the right challenge for you?
To be successful in this role you have:

-Experience as IT- or Software Architect with design authority in significant development projects, transforming requirements into a logical and physical architecture.
-Knowledge and practical experience with the architecture view on system integration, based on standard middleware like Oracle Fusion or Web Methods.
-Experience with the architecture of an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and related architecture concepts
-Practical experience with the implementation of IT products and ?services and the integration towards standard software on premise and/or in the cloud
-Experience with the development of IT architectures using architecture frameworks like TOGAF and modelling standards like UML.
-Understanding of project management as well as product and service life cycle management and the production view of an IT Landscape.
-Experience with cooperation together with external partners during software development projects and interest in working in an international context.
-Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
