Cambio Denmark supplies systems to Region Syddanmark, Region Midtjylland, The Faroe Islands, Iceland, Greenland and the Danish Defense, and provides software development of systems for Intensive Care Units and Anaesthesia departments internationally. We have two offices in Denmark, one located in Aarhus and one in Soeborg. We are in total 28 people in DK, split 50/50 between the two locations.

The position

At Cambio, we are constantly working to improve and expand our Critical Care Solutions so that they best support smooth workflows across our customers systems. Our solutions are therefore based on an open architectures and API’s, that makes it possible to collaborate, exchange clinical knowledge so that we, in collaboration with our customers, can create customized solutions via integrations.

We are therefore looking for a skilled technical Integration Specialist who can design, develop and deliver smart and reliable, technical integrations between our IT systems and customer IT systems.

As an integration specialist, you will be involved in the entire process from analysis, design, development, testing and delivery. You will work closely with technical and clinical specialists, software architects and developers. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the desired integration and you must thus be good at programming and communicating the technical solutions verbally and in writing.

You will be part of an experienced team with welcoming and competent colleagues, and your main responsibility is to strengthen our solutions through Integrations and ensure we have future ready and patient safe products.

Job responsibilities

- Design, develop, deliver and maintain technical integrations
- Keep updated on national and international healthcare standards for Interoperabillity
- Develop and maintain knowledge of state-of-the-art software development technologies, tools, computer systems, and industry trends in the area.
- Gather and maintain requirements from first-hand as well as secondary sources, including standards, customers/customer groups, end-users and internal stakeholders
- Give input to and write specifications of new functionalities and transfer knowledge/support the development organization in the development of new functionalities
- Participate in implementation, configuration and testing of our solutions
- Advise customer regarding the functionality of the system to help customers understand the products/functionality
- Work closely with architects to drive the strategy for future integrations
- Be proactive about tools and methods that can constantly improve, optimize and secure how we work with integrations
- Ability and interest in working cooperatively and supportively in a multi-disciplinary international team environment


Knowledge and skills

- Experience in XML, JSON and other languages typically used for data transfer
- Experience in different types of protocols for transferring information (Synchronous and Asynchronous), such as: Web Services (RESTFUL, SOAP), Import and export, Message Queuing
- Demonstrated experience in writing fault-tolerant code.
- Relevant education or equivalent work experience
- Experience from developing and delivering IT projects
- Ability to communicate and write fluently in Danish and in English
- Ability to travel to customers in Denmark as well as the Nordics 15-20 days a year
- Comprehension of data models
- Development experience with Java language.
- Experience in structured release & deployment best practices.
- In addition, it will be a bonus if you have experience with different health standards for data exchange such as: HL7 v2.x, HL7 v3.x, FHIR and MedCom


Furthermore, if you have experience with software development in compiled languages, database technology experience and have demonstrated comprehension of risks in integrations it is an advantage, but it is not a requirement.
