As an Integration Transition Lead within IKEAs global Integration Service Centre you will work closely with the IKEA user community and our vendors and take active responsibility for implementing and handing over our Integration solutions. You will do this by closely cooperating with Project and Integration leads planning and performing responsibility handover and knowledge transfer of integrations being developed and delivered by the ISC. Your focus will be on planning, scheduling, coordination between development/test and operations/maintenance of integrations. The work is an enabler for good and sound service operations and maintenance of our future integration landscape at IKEA. Stakeholder management and cross-functional communication are also key aspects of the everyday work.
Your main tasks in this assignment will be:
-Lead the handover and knowledge transfer work of new integration solutions and improvements of existing integrations
-Verify that the integration solutions can fulfil both functional and non-functional requirements according to technology, tools, methods and decided strategies
-Challenge expectations, show risks and enable possibilities
-Supporting the implementation of an enterprise wide Data Architecture
-Support the further development of our service operations area and overall working methods within our Integration Service Centre
-Facilitate change requests on Integration Solutions and ?Platforms.
To succeed in this position, you should have strong analytical skills, being able to structure information and derive conclusions and concrete consequences out of them. Experience in steering/working in IT Projects according to processes and methods for developing, integrating, testing of IT systems in a distributed, international environment is a huge advantage. Experience with Enterprise Integration Suites such as WebMethods or Oracle Fusion is an advantage.
You should also have:
-Good knowledge of general IT frames e.g. standards, infrastructure and platforms, frameworks and development concepts.
-Good knowledge of requirement management, test management process as well as understanding of product and service life cycle management.
-Good understanding of the architecture of IT Landscapes in a worldwide operating organization and the role of integration in such environment.
-Strong ability to communicate, drive business, to lead change and co-operate with both business- as well as technical stakeholders.
-Highly motivated to take responsibility and deliver results.
-Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
