Roles and Responsibilities

As Integration & Verification Manager for Vehicle Software Deployment, you will be a key person in ensuring that Group Trucks Technology (GTT) can offer a consistent solution in the T3 platform. This collaborative effort involves working alongside colleagues in the several streams and closely partnering with other departments within the Volvo Group, from ECU development to IT Infrastructure and end user tools. 

You work in close cooperation with the Product Owner, Solution Owner and Epic owner in the VSWD domain.  A set of use cases and requirements to build the end to end function including the toolbox that is needed for supporting different kinds of introductions. Your main responsibilities will be: 

* Responsibility for quality assuring the future business needs, covering product development, production and aftermarket. 
* Driving development of test cases and test plan for User Scenarios related to Vehicle Software Deployment. 
* Defining and validating the test environment. 
* Performing analysis and draw conclusions of delivered test results. 
* Finding the root cause for end-to-end level issues. 
* Securing quality and readiness before end-to-end release. 
* Contributing to formalizing the investment needs for verification. 


Requirements

To be able to succeed in this role you should have experience with the following areas:
* Advanced Embedded SW development
* Integrating back-end Services with onboard functionality
* EE architecture
* End user function testing at SIL, HIL and Vehicle
* SW deployment services at aftermarket and/or production
* CAN, LIN, J1939, UDS protocol
* CANalyzer/CANOE environment
* Working with type approval (R155) and ISO/SAE 21434
* SAFe and Agile SW development


Knowledge within the area of Cybersecurity and Functional safety will be appreciated.

How to succeed

You like to interact with many stakeholders and have good communication skills, since an important part of the job is sharing information. It is important that you can deep-dive into a multitude of technical areas within the VSWD areas.
In addition to this, you are a passionate beliver in lifelong learning. You should feel energized by working both independently and in a team, and have proven skills in cross-functional collaboration and being part of a transformation journey.
The location for the position is Gotheburg. If you are based in another location, but your skills are a good fit, we strongly encourage you to apply anyway. Relocation support can be provided if needed.
