Integrations Team Member/Scum Master

Arbetsbeskrivning

Market changes like connectivity and digitalization represent disruptive innovations that market leading businesses will use to drive competitive advantages. Scania’s business model is under this influence currently undergoing an exciting transformation from being a heavy truck manufacturer to being a provider of sustainable transport solutions with all its implications to Scania IT.

The group Standardized Interfaces is responsible for promoting a modularized IT Landscape based on Standardized Interfaces, i.e. SOA and REST APIs. We support Scania’s business transformation by providing connectivity between classical systems but even things like our connected trucks or manufacturing robots.

As a team member within integrations, you will, together with the team, be outlining and realizing the API Management Strategy for Scania IT. In this journey, we need to define what opportunistic APIs we allow in which areas to enable innovation and where we need to provide well-structured reusable enterprise APIs. You will work with many different areas of Scania’s business and have to be able understand the needs of Scania’s business processes. Your activities will also include the creation of new APIs, designing schemas, testing and administrating the implementation.

In your role, you will also act as the Scrum Master to the team and you will actively have to challenge and improve current ways of working. Currently, the group is working mostly Kanban-based and without e.g. sprints, meaning that you have the chance to give the group your strong Agile flavor.

Your profile
You probably have a relevant academic degree (M. Sc.) or equivalent. We further expect you to have experience within integrations and willingness to develop further by working with the business requirements on integrations. If you are a graduate, the following is optional but as a professional, we would like you to have:

knowledge in both solution architecture and information management
knowledge in SOA and API Management
knowledge in XML and design of APIs (WSDL and Swagger based)
the ability to create and visualize sustainable Integrations that meet business requirements and follow Scania IT’s guidelines
experience of working in agile teams and the willingness to be a Scrum Master
experience in integration documentation based on UML
tool knowledge in
integrated enterprise platforms for APIs (WSO2 or equivalent)
Altova XMLSpy

It is important that you have the ability to take own initiatives and get buy in from concerned areas and that you are able to handle multiple open cases in parallel. Also, you have to be fluent in English, our corporate language.

If you think you fit this description and you like the idea of joining an open minded environment where the team’s results are in focus, then we would love to hear from you!

What we offer
In addition to career and development opportunities, we can also offer Scania employees other benefits, such as a company car, performance bonuses, a pension, flexible working hours, lunch at reduced prices and much more.
