Integrator for our Passenger Division

The Role:
The primary function of the Integrator is to ensure the technical integrity and physical integration of the vehicle, for a particular "Integration Area" (Cab, Interior, Roof, or Underframe). As such, the Integrator is responsible for leading and coordinating the physical integration work for their respective area(s) during delivery, development and bid projects to ensure the successful execution of the engineering project.
Including the following
Coordination of engineering activities in regards to the physical integration of the respective integration area within the team
Provide technical leadership
Direct engineering interface and technical support to the Vehicle Integrator / Vehicle Engineer
Assure compliance with vehicle level requirements
Ensure the technical integrity of the vehicle in accordance with directives, standards and recommendations

Key Accountabilities:
Ensure that all vehicle components related to the respective integration area are physically integrated according to specification, within profile, and within the weight budget
Application of the physical integration process, including the creation of ES Integration for the respective Integration Area(s)
Definition of the vehicle layouts for the respective Integration Area(s)
Responsible for the validation, and in some cases definition, of requirements applicable to the Integration Area(s)
The incumbent will hold decision making authority on conceptual / technical issues for their Integration Area
Review and approval of technical documents describing the respective Integration Area(s)
Act as approval authority for components/products that shall be integrated into the Integration AreaWork closely with Industrialisation Engineering and Methods to define manufacturing and maintainability requirements that may impact design
Responsible for the build up of the product structure, assembly models and installation drawings for the respective Integration Area(s)
