Arbetsbeskrivning
BCSS was created to capitalize on the convergence of cloud and services. As Strategic Product Manager for CPI on BCSS level, you will drive the transformation of CPI across a multinational team collaborating with Product Development Units (PDUs), key suppliers and lead customers, focusing on delivering 5G Core and other Ericsson cloud native products and solutions, towards the vision that technical documentation is life-cycled per microservice and automatically assembled from end user's perspective; all information is only one click (or one question) away.
What you will do
Be responsible for the strategic evolution of technical documentation (CPI) for a large scale and diverse product portfolio of cloud native products.
Work closely with system managers, product development teams, subject matter experts and lead customers, to drive the documentation ecosystem to a high degree of automation and ability to handle a distributed complex reality. You will be making use of cloud native and AI technologies to make sure our CPI is in the front line of the industry.
Create a good understanding of developer and customer needs (inside and outside Ericsson).
Create a viable vision for CPI, document a strategy and roadmap that takes us to towards your vision. And as we are working with a finite set of people, budget and resources, you must be on top of your priorities.
Ensure the translation of the prioritized developers and customers needs into efficient product development requirements. This you will do by working together with an Agile Product Owner, to drive backlog item break-down into value-ordered and prioritized sub-items, and making sure development teams understand the need they are fulfilling and your wanted outcome.
You will bring
A proven record of product management and R&D roles with experience of owning vision, strategy and prioritization and communicating intent and results to both senior leadership and developers.
Leader experience with strong leadership and communication skills. You will also be able to make strategic (sometimes tough) decisions and execute them by making use of a larger organization and lead customers.
A domain competence with sound understanding of technical product and network architecture and deep knowledge from Customer Product Information/Intelligent Content, and standards and current industry trends in technical documentation domain.
An understanding of how to apply AI and automation technologies for the CPI domain are important competencies you will have to make use of.
A membership of relevant professional platforms is beneficial.
