INTERFACES DESIGN COORDINATOR

General Description of the job
The Interfaces Design coordinator is an integral part of the Design team working collaboratively with several design firms
The Interfaces Design coordinator is responsible of the interface management and assists the Discipline Leads for the cross disciplines checks. He will ensure that tasks are perfectly defined between disciplines. He will follow these tasks through the delivery phase and ensure that they are correctly handed over. He will report to the design manager and the project leader and will ensure the technical interface follow-up through a dedicated tool, Inmasyst by Egis

Main Duties of the post
Coordinate interdisciplinary design details to clarify interfaces.
Monitor the internal processes and practices in support of project development across all disciplines (e.g. Interfaces Matrix, Interface sheets, Inmasyst).
Assisting the Project Management in understanding the project development and Requirements Management, Systems Integration and Interface Management Engineering effort so that they can better understand and forecast the scope of their projected activities;
Assist in the development of internal practices in support of Requirements Management and Systems Integration across all disciplines.
Lead interface meetings and reporting
Coordination of interface actions
Support the Discipline Leads to integrate interfaces into Digital Information Management

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications
Any Master Degree
Qualified professional working under limited supervision capable of performing general technical works and manages projects or tasks of moderate complexity
Interface matrix, interface management plan, interface sheets preparation
Language: English is a must, French and Swedish is a bonus

Knowledge/Experience
Knowledge of tramway projects and especially slabtrack tramway, and/or systems in a transportation project
Junior engineer or an experienced technician, with good knowledge and practice of AutoCAD 2D-3D in Rail projects (tram projects would be a must).
MS Office skills
Involved, strong abilities to listen, understand, analyse and communicate
Serious, good in writing, synthesis spirit with meeting coordination capability
Be a good team player and have good clear communication skills
