We are currently looking for a Interim Category Marketing Manager to an exciting opportunity with our client Samsung! This is a consultancy opportunity, a 3-months contract starting as soon as possible with a great possibility for an extension.

About the role:
We are looking for an interim Category Marketing Manager that will be responsible for consumer and category insights and strategy in addition to Go To Market planning (below called GTM) for the Nordic market. As a Category Marketing Manager Mobile/Brand manager Mobile, you will have an integral part in ensuring we stay on top of the market and continue to enrich and simplify the consumers´ lives.
You will act as the link between Samsung HQ, Nordic marketing department and local Channel marketing and Sales functions to initiate and implement category marketing activities, including GTM planning with focus on retail presence, ATL/BTL campaigns and offline and online initiatives within both Samsung´s own and Samsung´s partners´ platforms.
Your overall objective for the position is to drive sell out of, and grow brand preference for, Samsung smartphones in the Nordics, with the ultimate target of reaching a market leading position. Samsung´s overall mission is to become and be the # 1 brand in the minds, hearts, homes and lives of our consumers, and the Smartphone category is a key component in reaching that vision.

Your profile:
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• University degree, preferably with a major in Marketing
• MS Office, mainly Excel & PPT
• Fluent in English, both in written and verbally
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
• We are looking for a Marketing "rockstar", with approx 6 years of solid consumer marketing experience from strong brands within Consumer Electronics/Telecom and/or FMCG.
• You have experience of/from:
• Go to market planning on multi-country markets, management of large marketing budgets, covering ATL as well as BTL.
• Nordic matrix organization
• Solid grasp of all elements of the media mix, ranging from conventional offline, to online and experiential marketing
• In order to thrive and succeed in the position you are used to take own initiatives and drive implementation. You have the ability to structure and prioritize your work in a high pace environment. We see that you have a mindset where you see opportunities rather than obstacles. In your daily job, you will navigate between strategic and operational challenges every day and needs to enjoy the ride between them.
Collaboration and teamwork is required qualities to perform, deliver and succeed in this position.
