Interim Engineering & Strategic Line Manager in Gothenburg

We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Interim Engineering Manager/Strategic Line Manager with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:
Engineering Manager's overall responsibility:
Lead/manage 15-25 FTC/FTE employees/consultants (software engineers, architects, BAs, Scrum Masters)
Responsible for all deliveries in the designated area
Implementation of a technical roadmap
Scrummaster/Team Coach escalation point
Maintenance, ensuring the highest quality of our services and adhering to SLAs
Forecast, estimates, and follow-up on budget responsibility
Allow and encourage continuous improvement
Employee/consultant recruitment and team/employee stability
Employee and consultant competency strategy







Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
Competency prerequisites for the applicant:
Experience leading engineering teams or in technical leadership roles is preferred.
Working knowledge from agile software organisations
You enjoy driving transformation and setting the team's direction.
You have strong collaboration and communication skills because you will be working with many stakeholders, which is critical to achieving a common understanding and laying the groundwork for innovation and a customer-driven way of working.
You make errors and learn from them.
You are outspoken and efficient.
Interest in new agile frameworks and technological trends
