Who you are
To be successful in the role as Interior Design Manager at IKEA Barkarby we are looking for you who:
• Are a strong and confident leader with experience to lead a team
• Love to influence people and would describe your creativity as brave and fearless
• Create a trust-giving and creative work environment so that we meet the customers in their lives at home
• Can see our challenges both as a whole and in detail. This makes you flexible in your path towards our goal
• Want to develop IKEA Barkarby by trying new things and get the customers back in to the store
• Have an interest in home furnishing and you´re able to find new solutions that inspire and surprise our visitors together with your team
• Experience from Interior Design and/or retail is desirable
IKEA is not a one-man show, as a Manager you work through other people's talents and delegate tasks so that your team can develop and reach the goal together. After a working week in this role, we can promise you that you will have inspired both people in your team and many of our customers in Stockholm.


About this work area
We offer a permanent full-time position as Interior Design Manager at IKEA Barkarby. Working hours are Monday to Friday with start date upon agreement. For this position we require English, both in speaking and writing.
You will have direct personal responsibility for 5 Interior Design Co-workers. You will be part of the Communication & Interior Design Team at IKEA Barkarby that also includes Visual Merchandiser, Graphic Co-workers and Carpenters along with other Managers and Leaders. You will be part of the Communication & Interior Design Management Team and reporting to Communication & Interior Design Manager.
