Do you want to be an active part in developing our Intermodal business and ports, offering new solutions and products? As Intermodal Operational Manager your responsibility is to lead our dispatch team and develop the department in order to ensure high quality service delivery and to meet customer expectation. You will be the operational contact with our partners and suppliers for the Intermodal solution. You will also participate and be a resource in projects that is related to developments of our IT-systems, operationally and customer facing.
Some of your key responsibilities:
- Develop our total Intermodal product
- Lead the Intermodal team Gothenburg/Rostock
- Optimize our Intermodal train solutions, trade management
- Participate in projects that is related to the Intermodal department
- Take part in the daily work. Ex, bookings etc.
- Be responsible for the operational contact to our partners/suppliers like railways companies /terminals etc.
- Drive process that is related to the intermodal set up

The team is now growing where we are looking for an Intermodal Operational Manager, that will be responsible for and lead our three dispatchers that are placed in Gothenburg and Rostock.
Who you are
At Stena Line your personality matters as much as how good you are at what you do. First of all we are looking for someone who is passionate about Intermodal solutions. You are a creative thinker, with excellent organizational and decision-making skills. You are also driven and have a strong business acumen combined with high integrity. We believe you are a confident and stable leader, one who can lead, motivate and inspire others. With your solid experience and competence in the area, we hope you can contribute and develop the Freight department and our Intermodal business.
Qualifications:
- University degree within transport/logistics or equivalent
- Background from Intermodal railway set up or similar
- Previous leadership experience
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken. If you speak German it´s a plus!
