A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US:
As an Architect intern you will be part of a team that:
Provides unique IKEA specialist competence in developing, improving, designing, establishing and operating Customer meeting points across all IKEA markets.
Coaches, mentors, supports and challenges IKEA retailers in their expansion plans.
Cooperates with our IKEA franchisees in 52 countries all over the world in a multicultural environment, all of us comfortable using English (spoken and written) to communicate.
Develops and co-creates outstanding IKEA retail architecture, by transforming market and business needs into inspiring meetings with our customers.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an architectural intern for at least 6 and maximum 12 months at our office in Malmö starting September 2021. During your internship, you will be a member of one of our architect teams. Your tasks will include:
Providing support in development and expansion projects (Feasibility studies, Concept design and Schematic design)
Building 3D (ArchiCAD) and physical models.
Making 3D visualizations and illustrations.
ABOUT YOU:
Study in the field of architecture or design, for a minimum of 3 years (bachelor degree).
An interest in retail design in various scale projects.
Good skills in visualisation and presentation techniques.
Socially skilled and can work independently.
Speak and write English fluently.
Experienced in working with ArchiCAD/other CAD software and Adobe products.
We offer an exciting work environment in a global marketplace with great opportunities to grow and develop together with us. This is a full time (40 hours/week), time-defined position (13 months).
