The Internal Audit Function and the Husqvarna Group
The Husqvarna Internal Audit Function will consist of a small team - present manning is three persons - serving the Husqvarna world-wide business.The function will be responsible for performing independent, objective assurance activities aiming at systematically evaluate and suggest improvements in the internal control as well as providing support to Group Management and the operational business units.The function reports to the CEO and to the Audit Committee regarding assurance activities, while other activities are reported to the CFO.

Husqvarna's Group Staff head office is located in Stockholm, whereas its main European manufacturing facility and several administrative functions are located to the city of Huskvarna.

Key operational responsibilities
Husqvarna Group, based on an internal audit plan.The internal audits will mainly aim at identifying controls in the business processes and suggest improvements in these, but can also You will be responsible for independently conducting internal audits throughout the be financially oriented.You will also, from time to time, be required to provide professional support to management through special project assignments.The position requires traveling on a world-wide basis, although mainly in Europe and North America.An estimate of the traveling required is some 50%.

Reporting to
Director of Group Internal Audit

Competencies needed
Experience in auditing - internal and/or external - is required.Good oral and written communication skills are also crucial, as is fluency in spoken and written English.You would normally have an academic degree in accounting and financing or similar.

Knowledge of corporate governance and International Financial Reporting Standards would be an advantage, as would experience of determining risks and assessing their significance.Other languages than English are a merit.

On a personal level you need to be able to function independently and take own initiatives.Required key values are an open mind, professionalism, active participation, positive attitude, open communication, respect and integrity.

Location
The base location for the position is Stockholm or Huskvarna.
