Due to the internal promotion of one of the audit team members to LC&FI a vacancy now exists within the LC&FI audit team. Group Internal Audit (GIA) is an independent unit that reports directly to SEB’s Board of Directors via the Audit and Compliance Committee. The purpose of the function is to evaluate and give assurance to the Board and the President that governance, risk management and internal control processes as designed and represented by management are adequate and effective and support the business objectives. The department consists of around 80 professionals that utilise a common global methodology and audit tools.
What you will be doing
The jobholder will participate in the planned audit work conducted within the LC&FI division that offers advisory-driven commercial and investment banking services to large corporations and financial institutions in the home markets and international sites.

As an audit team member, you will be contributing to the completion of the Annual Audit Plan in Sweden. Also, you will support the Divisional Head of Internal Audit with the quarterly reporting requirements and participate in the annual Risk Assessment process and contribute towards the development of the Audit Plan for the next financial year.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a person with a minimum of 6 years of relevant Banking audit experience, who has worked previously within an internal audit department and has been approved by a recognised regulator for this position. You are curious and have a high level of integrity and are self-driven, with energy and enthusiasm. You enjoy working in a team with divisional team members and in joint assignments with colleagues from other teams in GIA. You are an excellent communicator with the ability to build trust and forge professional relationships. You can see the big picture but still be able to keep an eye on the details.
An applicable university degree and fluency in English is required.
You do apply good judgement and have a thorough understanding of business processes and controls. Also, you have applied tools for the analysis of large data objects that would support you in this role.
