Internal Auditor to Santander

The Internal Audit function in Santander provides independent assurance on the quality and effectiveness of internal control, risk management and governance, helping to protect the company´s value, solvency and reputation.
We are looking for an internal auditor to be part of the Financial Risk team of the Internal Audit Department. The start and end date for this assignment is 07/03/2022 – 30/06/2022.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
* Participate in the audit of Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment (ICAAP) Process and the audit of governance and annual certification process concerning the Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR - SOX), reviewing the compliance of those processes with applicable regulations.


* Complete assigned tasks of each audit and prepare all audit work paper sections on time and in accordance with department requirements. In addition, participate in the elaboration of the final audit documents and in the discussion of findings and recommendations.
* Maintain high quality standards, in conformance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing of the Institute of Internal Auditors and following the Santander Corporate Internal Audit Methodology.
* Provide other support to the team and the department to secure the accomplishment of audit plan, when needed.


VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* Bachelor's degree required


* Preferred Master’s Degree in Economics and Accounting
* Around 3 years of experience in the auditing, assurance or equivalent in the financial sector
* Preferably knowledge of capital regulatory requirements (i.e. ICAAP) applied to the financial service institutions and understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) related requirements.
* Knowledge of governance, risk and control concepts
* Good skills of MS Office and Excel
* Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
