We are now looking for the right person for the role as Internal Communications Manager for Operations.

The Operations Team
Operations is responsible for Axis global supply-chain, we make sure that our customers receive the products they order. We work in close collaboration with manufacturing partners worldwide, we take responsibility for building and maintaining a supplier base with everything needed to manufacture Axis products. We ensure that our supply chain is reliable in terms of quality and environmental impact. We also develop and supply equipment used to produce and test Axis products.

This coordination of a global supply chain of suppliers, manufacturing partners, configuration, and logistics centers, including handling distributor orders and shipment, is a key competence and success factor of Operations way of working. This is also where our CLCs (configuration and logistics centers) plays an important role.

Another area where our Operations team have an important role is in the development of new products, turning new products and ideas into something that we can manufacture and sell to our customers.​

What will you do as Internal Communications Manager?
The world is constantly changing and we need to be resilient, robust and responsible when handling supply chain activities in these environments. We want to lead with reliable and forward-looking communication throughout the system and create understanding and inspiration around our future growth, our challenges and our actions. In this work you are crucial! You will together with the management team of Operations lead the work to create and implement a strategic communication plan internally for Operations and around Operations topics across Axis as well as towards our external partners in the value chain. You will also be operationally responsible for creating the content of the plan together with your colleagues in the management team.

The team of Operations consists today of about 400 colleagues in Lund and some located globally, close to our suppliers.

Operations is working closely with other Axis teams. Together we take responsibility for our long-term success by supporting the cross functional cooperation with focus on Axis' best interests.

We are looking for an experienced and grounded leader with a solid record of accomplishment in leading communication both strategically and operationally. You collaborate well with others and are curious to learn and develop while contributing to happy customers and the success of Axis.

You are used to work in a fast paced and growing environment, have a flexible attitude but with a structured approach when putting plans into actions. Have a business-oriented mindset, with the ability to balance strategic and tactical responsibilities.

Successful characteristics would be a strong ambition paired with a lack of prestige personality and high level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness.

We furthermore believe you have:

* Several years' of experience in leading communication roles. Both strategically and operationally.
* A relevant education in the field of communication
* An ability to build and sustain strong trusting collaborative internal relationships.
* Fluent English skills.

The role will be based in Lund occasional travel will be considered a natural part of the job. You will in this role be reporting to the VP of Operations.
