About the job
We are hiring a motivated internal IT Service Desk (1st line) to strengthen our IT support function. This position will be supporting the Polarium employees with their daily requests on computers, office devices and software. Primarily focus will be on supporting the approximately 100+ employees in Sweden, but there is also a global responsibility to support employees in other locations. Our ideal candidate is a great collaborator with the technical chops to support the IT needs of our growing company.
The position is based in Kista, Sweden.
Responsibilities:
- Installing, configuring, and supporting client hardware & software (Microsoft / Mac), mobile phones (iPhone / Android), user accounts, office printers, scanners, video meeting system, office 365 application etc.
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Onboarding new employees from an IT perspective
- 2-3 years’ experience from working with IT support
- Hands-on experience on client hardware and software
- Service-minded. Ability to work successfully with a variety of personalities and various management levels
- Fluent in Swedish and with excellent English-speaking skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate technical directions, both in person and over the phone
- High School or equivalent diploma
- A problem solver
- Open-mind and comfortable to work in an agile, fast-moving environment
Qualification and experience:
