Within the International HR team, the Compensation & Benefit Specialist provides an expert service to all relevant parts of the group outside the home markets (Nordic / Baltic region), relating to all pay and reward aspects as well as planning, negotiating and monitoring international assignments and cross-border transfers within the whole TeliaSonera group.Key targets and responsibilities The International Compensation & Benefit (C&B) Specialist is responsible for designing and implementing cost effective compensation and benefit policies and processes internationally, and continuously reviewing compensation and benefit schemes in collaboration with regional HR managers.The job holder will be responsible for conducting annual international compensation and benefit audits, as well as forecasting and budgeting requirements (including business control).On an annual basis the C&B specialist will have operational responsibility for the global salary review process and variable salary process, sourcing information from third-party reports regarding appropriate compensation strategy and structures.The C&B specialist is also responsible for the maintenance of the international HR management information system in addition to producing management reports on a regular basis.As well as general compensation and benefit responsibility the job holder will also provide assistance in requests for international assignments within the Group, including setting the right remuneration ranges, liaising with relocation companies and maintaining direct contact with assignees to support their moves. Knowledge and experience To apply for this position you must have 3-5 years compensation and benefit experience, with at least 2 years experience working in an international environment.You must be educated to degree level preferably in an HR or business discipline.You must be fluent in English (both written and verbal), and be an advanced MS Excel user.In addition you must have good knowledge of compensation tools, such as Mercer IPE system, extensive HR knowledge and experience, and ideally some experience working in the telecoms or technology sector.To be successful in this position you must be business-minded with strong commercial acumen with a detail and results-orientated personality.You must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently on your own initiative and as part of a geographically dispersed team.You must be a skilled and influential negotiator and communicator with sound interpersonal skills to establish and develop collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization.Utilising a structured approach, you will take pro-active action to solving problems and implementing practical solutions.All this will be underpinned by your honest and trustworthy approach, recognized for your flexibility and high level of integrity.
