Since you’ve landed on this page, you already know Hedvig is a mover and shaker in insurtech, and think you might have what it takes to join us. As the only loved insurance company in Sweden (in the world?), we’ve proven that it’s possible to disrupt an entire industry with people’s best interest at heart. But our journey is just beginning.
Our expansion plans are ambitious, and thus we are hiring an expansion specialist. The main goal of the position is to lead the analysis and mapping of new geographical markets and feed different parts of the organization with relevant information to secure a successful launch and establish Hedvig as a player in the new market.
Our vision is not to limit ourselves to Sweden. We want to disrupt the insurance sector all over Europe. We have already expanded to the Nordics, and we are already delivering remarkable insurance experience in Norway and Denmark.
About the role
As Hedvig’s expansion specialist, you are our new markets’ frontrunner to help guide different units with strategic and concrete insights. You will travel to different countries and will be an essential stakeholder in creating the insurance products to be launched for the market/product category, ensuring we know everything we need to know before entering a new country.
You will be working alongside Product Managers, researching and drawing conclusions from local user needs, cultural expectations, insurance regulations and competitor trends to identify the best windows of opportunity for Hedvig.
What about you?
You have proven experience in driving complex analysis and research cases or have supported international expansion for digital businesses in the past
You are not only strategic and analytical but also a great communicator. Your communication skills are key to your success as you will have to communicate complex information in a structured and easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and in writing.
You have a strong ability to observe markets and communicate insights with a strong business acumen to different target groups.
Previous experience working in Insurance, fintech or is highly passionate about it is a big plus!
More important than all of this, you are passionate about learning new things and finding an efficient way to push projects forward to help us expand internationally. You may love to travel and are curious about different cultures and processes. Being hands on and a “do-er” that takes initiative and ownership is what we need to help us grow in new locations.
We highly value both a good attitude and personality and place a lot of emphasis on these "soft skills".
