Kasthall is a Swedish design company that designs and manufactures exclusive carpets for private homes and public environments. Kasthall was founded in 1889 and since then has had its Swedish manufacturing in its factory in Kinna, Western Sweden. Kasthall is today one of the leading players in the global market and has most of its turnover outside of Sweden.
The success comes from a strong premium awareness, high design level & innovative thinking, solid craftsmanship and high-quality requirements for both materials, design and manufacturing. Today, Kasthall has around 80 employees and is represented in 30 countries with showrooms and stores in New York, Milan, Stockholm, Gothenburg and Kinna.
Job brief
We are looking for a reliable Logistics Manager to be responsible for Kasthall´s global logistic setup, delivering on our focus areas: Customer experience beyond expectation, while constantly reducing Kasthall´s environmental footprint, and optimizing cost. Your workplace is at the headquarters in Kinna.
Responsibilities
Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse and global transportation
Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
Selecting carriers and negotiating contracts and rates in close cooperation with purchasing.
Keep track of quality, quantity, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
Responding to any issues or complaints
Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process within shipments.
Supervise, coach and train the warehouse workforce.
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
Requirements and skills
Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager
Record of successful distribution and logistics management
Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.
Proficient in standard logistics software
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
Strong IT skills, we operate with ERP-JEEVES.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
