Atos Medical was founded in 1986 and has today a vast international network with sales companies in the USA, UK, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Japan, Brazil and also exclusive distributors serving about 55 countries. Atos Medical started the research and development on the first voice prosthesis in 1987 under the name Provox. Throughout the years, Atos Medical has worked to develop Provox as the leading voice and pulmonary rehabilitation system on the market. At the same time, we now allocate substantial development and training resources to our activities in Ear, Nose and Throat. The head office is situated in Hörby, approximately 25 minutes travel from Lund. We are 420 employees in the group and 180 employees in Hörby (www.atosmedical.com).Atos Medical is the global market leader in voice and pulmonary rehabilitation for patients who have had their voice box removed due to cancer, a market with big growth opportunities. We are expanding our business and are therefore looking for an International Product Manager that will focus on voice prosthesis for people having their voice box removed. You will be responsible for development and execution of product strategy, launches, marketing and new development needs within your product portfolio. Your target group consists of a wide range of stakeholders, e.g. surgeons, ENT specialists, speech therapists, nurses and patients. You will work in close
co-operation with the other international Product Managers, the Marketing Communications team, the R&D department, Clinical Affairs and our Sales organizations. You report to the Vice President Marketing of Atos Medical.
The work includes:
• Managing the entire life cycle for the products in your portfolio, from strategic planning to tactical activities, including launch of new products
• Building and maintaining relations with a network of international Key Opinion leaders
• Ensuring that all communication is adapted to the relevant target groups, internally as well as externally
• Proactively seeking to understand which products are, and will be, demanded in our key markets and to take necessary action
• Be the lead contact between marketing and R&D/Sales during the development/launch phase of new products within your product portfolio
• Creation of marketing and launch material in cooperation with our Marketing Communications team
• Educating sales force, distributors and customers worldwide to make sure that they have the right level of knowledge to sell the products
• Be an expert with respect to competition
Qualifications:
You should have several years of experience within Product Management from the medical device industry or from the life science area and be fluent in English. German, Spanish or French language would be an advantage. In addition, you should have excellent communication/presentation skills and have experience in developing market/product strategy/launch plans. Necessary personal qualities are for you to be self-driven, to have an inquisitive mindset and to be analytical and target oriented.
A University Degree in Business Administration, Engineering and/or Healthcare is preferred.
Traveling: 60 days annually
