Hamrin International Professor in Family Business Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) serves regional and global needs by educating entrepreneurial leaders and business creators.JIBS shall be recognized as providing innovative leadership in research, education and service to society within entrepreneurship and business renewal.JIBS has about 200 employees and 2200 students, and it is one of four schools within Jönköping University. JIBS seeks a Professor in Family Business, supporting the continued development of the Centre for Family Business and Ownership (CeFEO).The position is funded by a donation from Carl-Olof and Jenz Hamrin Foundation.The Centre for Family Enterprise and Ownership at JIBS is one the worlds premier centres for family business studies engaging some 25 researchers from Business Administration, Economics, and Business Law.WORKING TASK/QUALIFICATION The selected candidate will lead and conduct research, supervise doctoral students, teach on undergraduate and graduate levels, and play a central role in the continued development of CeFEO and JIBS.The candidate is expected to have a strong international orientation.The position is full time and requires a PhD degree in business administration, economics or a closely related area.We also require previous experience and academic performance appropriate for appointment at the professor level as well as a professional command of English.In making the selection, importance will be given to achievements and experiences of the applicant in the following areas: - Capacity and interest to engage in academic research at the highest level and a significant record of publications in internationally recognized, peer-reviewed journals For more information, please visit our homepage www.jibs.se and www.jibs.se/cefeo Box 1026, SE-551 11 Jönköping.
