fade® Acoustic Ceilings – a producer of exclusive and high-quality acoustic products – was acquired by Saint-Gobain Ecophon – a leading, global supplier of sound absorbing systems – in June 2021. fade® Acoustic Ceilings is in the process of being integrated into the Ecophon Group multi brand product portfolio. Do you see yourself travelling to exciting countries for a couple of years and then take on an expanded role at the Saint-Gobain Ecophon headquarters in Helsingborg?
This role, also described as a “Business Unit partner” and “customer advocate” for the European Business units and external customer relationships, is ideally suited for a professional who want to grow into the role as “owner” of the fade® Acoustic Ceilings sales development.
You will work close to the CEO of fade® Acoustic Ceilings and experience an accelerated professional growth into the Ecophon Group as well as the wider community of Saint-Gobain – one of the world’s largest companies. By collaborating with colleagues you will strengthen your skills in business management, customer service and marketing.
About the role
We are seeking an International Sales Developer to develop sales through the Saint-Gobain Ecophon Group Business Units around Europe. You will primarily be based at our office in Copenhagen the first three years and will then be relocated to the Ecophon Group HQ in Helsingborg, Sweden. Hence, we are looking for candidates planning for their future in the dynamic Öresund area. You will be travelling 2-3 days/week, and you will report directly to the CEO of fade® Acoustic Ceilings.
You feel at home in an international, fast-paced, and dynamic environment where a “we will make it happen” philosophy is strong. You will be responsible for launching the fade® Acoustic Plaster System in Ecophon Group business units around Europe while developing sales in business units where the product has been launched. Together with the local Business Unit team you will be identifying customer needs, develop strategies to meet customer demands, develop strategies to grow sales, work with the necessary departments at the HQ to “safeguard” products, make sure current products are up-to-date and meet compliance requirements.
You will be collecting, analyzing, documenting and presenting market insights as input for management decisions related to sales and marketing activities, product development, operational footprint etc.
Main responsibilities
• Build trust and engagement with each Business Unit
• Prepare, conduct and follow up product introduction in each Business Unit
• Identify market needs via customers and key stakeholders
• Make it easy and fun to sell fade products
• Inspire and follow up sales managers on targets and sales planning
• Identify customer needs
• Develop strategies to meet customer demands and boost sales
• Product management
• Strategic pricing
• Product training, both internal and external
• Analysis and supervision of existing product range
• Product launches and follow-ups
• Contribute to the sales development in cooperation with our Business Units
• Daily operational tasks towards our Business Units
• Monitoring the market competition
• Support other resources within the Market Department when necessary

Background and profile
The candidate we are looking for has an academic degree. You have 2-6 years of relevant work experience within business development and have strong ambitions for a dynamic and stimulating career. As international contacts are an important part of the work, experience of business development in an international environment is highly valued. You need to master English perfectly, both orally and written. Apart from that there are no specific language requirements.
To be able to handle the position you need to be self-motivated, curious and have a solid commercial drive and technical interest. As a person you must show strong interpersonal skills. You have great analytical skills and the ability to dig into details when needed but without losing sight of the bigger picture. You will have incoming requests from internal and external stakeholders, so you need to be able to recognize what is important and prioritizing tasks.
