Tiger of Sweden's collections encompasses men's and women's tailoring, ready-to-wear and accessories. Headquartered in Stockholm, Tiger of Sweden's collections are sold globally, online and at over 1,200 retail stores.

The purpose of the International Sales Manager is to drive the brand elevation and internationalisation journey of Tiger of Sweden by building and nurturing relationships with lighthouse department stores, luxury online platforms and key partners (e.g., distributors, agents, independents) here called "international accounts" globally with a focus on markets outside Scandinavia and German-speaking countries. The role will authentically convey the brand DNA and pitch the brand's collections to generate business growth opportunities in new international markets.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Priorities:

The International Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow Tiger of Sweden's distribution globally in brand-right environments.

- Driving Tiger of Sweden's business with international accounts, especially in the UK, France, Italy, South Korea, Japan, Canada/US
- Building trust-based relationships with Buying Directors, Buying, and Selling teams at international accounts.
- Managing the selling-in of four collections per year to international accounts. In-season tracking current trading, driving replenishment / OTB sales, ensuring international accounts always have adequate stock levels and sell-through and being in charge of detailed and accurate sales forecasting and budgeting.
- In collaboration with the Trade Marketing Manager, plan and execute training and marketing activations in these accounts in line with the contractually agreed upon sales support and marketing spend.
- Role modelling how to communicate an elevated, consistent brand image aligned with brand/marketing guidelines towards internal and external stakeholders with a focus on international markets.
- Collaborating with CMO / PR to ensure Tiger of Sweden's presence at relevant fashion/craft/design industry events and gatherings during fashion weeks and other occasions for brand representation and visibility.
- Frequent travelling is required for this position.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

For international prospect accounts

- Entrepreneurially develop Tiger of Sweden's global prospect list and advise CCO/CEO on new account approval based on brand environment assessment.
- Identify the right stakeholders/contacts at global prospect accounts.
- Pitch the brand to international strategic and image-driving prospect accounts and potential distributors/agents.
- Build and, over time, develop close relationships and the brand as a foundation to grow the business.

For international existing accounts

- Full P&L ownership of international sales markets.
- Detailed management of Tiger of Sweden's international accounts' sales and gross-to-net. Controlling discounts, claims and returns to ensure targets are achieved.
- Prepare and present monthly business reviews: pre-orders and OTB net sales, sell-through performance, gross-to-net etc.
- Prepare and conduct monthly trading meetings with the accounts-pre-order deliveries and OTB net sales, sell-through performance, gross-to-net etc. Initiate corrective actions to support sales during the season.
- Prepare estimates for the SSP (Stock Service Program) / NOS program in collaboration with the SSP Planner to secure high OTB sales and low risk of sold-out styles.
- Establish, develop, and nurture business relationships with international accounts to grow and generate new business.
- Visit customers, secure a high standard of Tiger of Sweden visual merchandising in-store, and train store staff where needed.
- Apply Tiger of Sweden frameworks, guidelines, and tools to identify and drive implementation of continuous improvement/optimisation activities.
- Plan and execute training and marketing activations in these accounts in line with the contractually agreed sales support and marketing spend in collaboration with the Trade Marketing Manager.

International market knowledge

- Deliver market intelligence based on feedback from international accounts partners. Keep current on product trends, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends.
- Retail KPIs knowledge (consignment // concession knowledge).
- Ensure full understanding of market needs and challenges.

Other sales-related responsibilities

- Support the key looks and pieces USP at line release time from a storytelling point of view.
- Own from a sales perspective Tiger of Sweden's presence at Fashion Weeks (i.e., "host role" at showrooms) to bring new prospect accounts to the showrooms and in touch with the brand and "owning" the appointment calendar.
- Collect feedbacks and inputs from the international (prospect) accounts and drive them towards Buying & Merchandising.
- Work closely with colleagues in the global sales organisation. Ensure feedback and alignment with Sales Managers and Executives across markets.

KPI'S FOR THE ROLE

- International business/accounts - full ownership.
- Growth of net sales stemming from international markets.
- Growth (net sales & GTN%) of the international business with targeted upper-premium / luxury accounts.
- Number of targeted upper-premium / luxury accounts won (i.e., placing an order).
- Number of relationships built with targeted (i.e., based on a pre-defined prospect list) upper-premium / luxury accounts.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

- 6-8+ years' experience in a global fashion brand (in a Sales role) or a fashion retailer (in a Buying role) in the premium or luxury environment.
- Existing relationships with international accounts in focus markets, e.g., Harrod's, Selfridges, Le Bon Marché, La Samaritaine, Galeries Lafayette, La Rinascente, Shinsaegae, Hyundai Group, SaksFifthAvenue, Harvey Nichols, Holt Renfrew, MyTheresa, Net-a-Porter, MrPorter, MatchesFashion, SSense.
- Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
- Experience in dealing with senior and high-profile stakeholders.
