International Student Coordinator

JIBS serves regional and global needs by educating entrepreneurial leaders and business creators.JIBS shall be recognized as providing innovative leadership in research, education and service to society within entrepreneurship and business renewal.JIBS has about 220 employees and 2200 students, and it is one of four schools within Jönköping University.The International Office facilitates all aspects of internationalization at JIBS which involves among other things developing the cooperation for exchange agreements with international partner universities.The office runs the student and faculty exchange program and works closely with faculty to help develop contacts in research and course development. JOB DESCRIPTION The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination and administration of the international degree-seeking students regarding various matters of their stay.He/she will also assist with administrative tasks within the International Office and the students going abroad, which will require a close cooperation with several instances at JIBS and within the Jönköping University.The tasks also involve contact with several actors in the community, among others, Migrationsverket, Skatteverket, Internationella Programkontoret, Swedish Institute.The candidate will also coordinate some scholarship programs run by the International Office. QUALIFICATIONS Applications should have the equivalent of a bachelor degree with a suitable major and be computer literate.Applicants must be fluent in English and Swedish (both spoken and in writing).Any additional knowledge of other languages is a merit.
