International Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for a International Supply Chain manager for one of our clients who are a leading supplier in the industrial field[within logistic solutions.The position is situated in the Netherlands and are managing 3 sites in and outside of Europe.The company operations is international and[extend over more than 30 countries with a large aftermarket, where the extensive service needs of the customers are central.[ Tasks: The position task is to manage three sites in and outside of the Netherlands and about 30-50% of the time is to work outside the factories, from purchased material to interaction with the sales organization.Majority of the activities is through cross functional project activities such as order process, Supply Chain improvements and product development.A key factor to success is networking capabilities and transfer market requirements into a efficient Supply Chain set-up.A main task going forward is transfer from stand-alone factory set-up to a complete Supply Chain view with good understanding about required solutions on the market.From an operational perspective is about manage and develop the operations to achieve the targeted efficiency, quality, delivery and customer satisfaction level and to drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the operations.Develop the respective management team to achieve operational excellence.The position manages a local management team on the two larger sites which consists of Production Manager, Total Quality Manager, Business Controller, R&D Manager, HR Manager, Material Production Control Manager and the Category Manager.All factories attend a weekly meeting with Supply Chain Manager for the division.KPI's reported on a weekly basis are Order intake and deliveries, Delivery On Time, Efficiency and Overall Equipment Effectiveness.On a monthly basis is the financial result reported at specific review meeting.There is an annual forecasting process where product -and material cost is established for the following year.The position reports to the division Supply Chain Manager.Education and experience: Degree at Masters or Bachelor level within Engineering, Supply Chain or Production.S/he needs to have a good technical understanding, broad experience and knowledge in manufacturing and supply chain.Knowledge of quality systems like ISO and related tools like 5S,Lean and continuous improvements.Suitable would be direct experience in Supply Chain and/or in managing a factory in similar environment.Experience in managing change and development processes in production and supply chain is important.Been working in a matrix organization is a strong recommendation as well as been internationally exposed.
