International Technical Trainer - Retail Competence Development Team

The Retail Competence Development Team works to produce training material for Volvo Technicians. That includes both basic level of knowledge as well as describing functions and complicated high end technologies. The technologies and functions will then be described in a pedagogical way using binders, animations, films, hands-on activities etc. The team has a high and respected knowledge of all functions and features around Volvos products and work to secure the competence of Volvo dealer staff through the development and delivery of training. The department has the responsibility for both Commercial and Technical Training. We are now looking for a Technical Trainer to join our team.

As Technical Trainer, you will together with the team develop and deliver training to Volvo Technicians through a variety of methods including instructor led- training methods, e-learnings and virtual classroom. You will gather information from subject matter experts within the organization as a basis for creating reference material to be used across Volvo Car Group, Sales companies and Dealer's networks. You will develop training material to be delivered to Sales Companies including Sales Company trainers.

Main responsibilities

* Utilise different technologies to get key messages out to the markets quickly and effectively
* Present material and educate Volvo Technicians within the organisation

Required qualifications

* Documented technical experience in the automotive industry
* Experienced in the design and delivery of training programs
* Knowledge how to write and express technology and functions in a pedagogical way
* Knowledge about basic automotive principals
* Driver's license, B-level
* Experience in MS Office
* Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
* Experience from other markets when it comes to the needs and use of technical information is meritorious
* Experience of in-vehicle diagnostics is meritorious
* Experience of other electrical base technologies (e.g. network design or communication) is also meritorious
