Become one of our 30 International Trainees at Vattenfall. Each of the trainee positions is unique, linked to a department within a specific business area and a working location. This means that each position has its own specific responsibilities, challenges and matching profile.
Next to your personal development in this unique position you will be enjoying one year of all we have to offer. Your trainee year will be filled with meetups with your international trainee team with likeminded individuals. You will be meeting up virtually to work on assignments and live during four seminar weeks where you will be visiting our power plants and growing your superpowers with a variety of trainings.
Your role as a Trainee - Management Consultant Data and Processes
In your role as a Management Consultant Data and Processes, you will become part of our Special Projects Team. Special Projects is a unit in Vattenfall that manages and coordinates optimization programs for the entire Vattenfall Group. Our programs/projects involve multiple Business Areas, Staff Functions and/or countries. We report directly to the CFO.
In this position, you will support large-scale innovation and improvement projects of high strategic importance. You will ensure effective cooperation between the various business units in order to reach the strategic program objectives.
Your daily activities:
Analysis of enterprise processes and data structures across different units
Coordination of assignments with focus on high performing operations in data and processes
Working together in multi-disciplinary teams
Managing stakeholder expectations and building strong relationships to the business
Supporting in different projects

As a Trainee - Management Consultant Data and Processes you recognize yourself in the following:
Master’s degree or equivalent in IT or Economics, with focus Data / Process Management / IT
Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with strong interpersonal relations / stakeholder management skills and the ability to work on all levels across the organization
Exceptional problem-solving skills and an analytical, innovative, and creative mindset
Insights and experience in how to use data to make processes better
Able to explain complex stories in a simple manner
Confidence and maturity to work with senior executives
Ability to be self-directed and be an independent contributor to the team
Someone who has a passion for and has excellent presentation skills and above average proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
You are our ideal trainee if you are a recent graduate with an academic degree or you graduate before September 2023. You are fluent in English. Skills in other world languages can be a merit. You are willing to relocate for possible assignments throughout the organization. And of course, you identify yourself with our principles: active, open, positive and safe.
Location:
You will be working in the department Special Projects (as part of CFO Functions) and the position is located in Amsterdam, Stockholm (Solna) or Berlin.

Selection period starts after the application period is closed with online tests followed by interviews in March. An assessment is also part of the recruitment process and will take place in April.
