Become one of our 30 International Trainees at Vattenfall. Each of the trainee positions is unique, linked to a department within a specific business area and a working location. This means that each position has its own specific responsibilities, challenges and matching profile.
Next to your personal development in this unique position you will be enjoying one year of all we have to offer. Your trainee year will be filled with meet-ups with your international trainee team with likeminded individuals. You will be meeting up virtually to work on assignments and live during four seminar weeks where you will be visiting our power plants and growing your superpowers with a variety of trainings.
Your role as a Trainee – Transaction Analyst in BU Offshore Wind
Working within a multi-disciplinary team to plan and execute high-value partnering project (acquisitions-, bid partnerships- and farm-downs) in Offshore Wind in the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark.
Some of your daily activities:
Assist the Senior/Lead Transaction Manager with all aspects of the deal process, including PMO responsibilities (project plan, budget, documentation management, etc.);
Support the drafting of governance/investment papers to senior management;
Drive the collection of technical and commercial inputs from the wider Vattenfall organization;
Support the preparation of deal materials including information memoranda, management presentation and vendor business plan;
Support or lead due diligence workstreams including managing the Q&A process
Work on projects to develop the team-, processes and Vattenfall’s offering ( contract standardization, model interface, information protocols, etc)
Develop project specific partnership strategies

As a Trainee - Transaction Analyst, you recognize yourself in the following:
Master degree in Engineering, Finance, Law or other relevant field of study
A commercial interest and skill
A positive, active approach and high level of enthusiasm and commitment to team goals
Strong communication skills with an ability to engage others
Excellent skills in Excel and PPT
You are our ideal trainee if you are a recent graduate with an academic degree or you graduate before September 2023. You are fluent in English. Skills in other world languages can be a merit. You are willing to relocate for possible assignments throughout the organization. And of course, you identify yourself with our principles: active, open, positive and safe.

You will be working in the department Transaction Management, BU Offshore Wind and the position is located in London, Stockholm, Kolding, Hamburg or Amsterdam
