We are currently seeking an Area Sales Manager to our EMEA team in HQ office in Solna.
In this role you will develop and grow our total sales into new application areas as well as identify opportunities for growth in existing product solutions. Working in a sales team requires high level of own sales initiatives and high activity to ensure sales growth. You will be responsible for sales of all our world-leading global brands in your areas (countries) generating sales to direct clients, partners and agents. You will work closely with the global marketing department in order to execute marketing campaigns, tradeshows and product launches. You will report to Region Head EMEA, placed in Solna office.
Responsibilities:
New sales development, by identifying, pursuing and closing new opportunities.
Develop annual business plan in conjunction with Region Head EMEA with detailed sales activities for the region to focus on meeting the exceeding sales quota of our world leading brands ABEM and MALA
Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings together with networking and social media
Demonstrate and provide product consultation in close cooperation with applications engineers
Develop product knowledge on current and new products
Develop and research technical aspects of competitive products/markets
Attend and generate sales at various Tradeshows and events at the direction of Region Head EMEA
Maintain accurate records in CRM database for prospects, customer orders, sales records and other financial activity
Ability to travel within territory
Experience Requirements:
3+ years of sales experience in business to business (B2B)
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
Proven track record to excel at finding and closing new business
Prior success selling high end technical solutions
(Specific product knowledge and experience within GPR industry or/and other technologies within resistivity, seismic and TEM is desirable)
Personal characteristics:
Good analytical ability in order to conduct comprehensive customer needs analyses
Prioritizes and plans efficiently work activities
Service minded, quick to learn and strong organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a global team
