Thinfilm Electronics ASA is the global leader in the development and commercialization of printed electronics and smart systems. The company is creating printed systems that include rewritable memory, sensing, display, and wireless communication (NFC). Thinfilm enables the Internet of Everything by connecting physical objects with the virtual world and bringing intelligence to disposable goods.

Our headquarters are located in Oslo, Norway. The product development and production is in Linköping, Sweden, and San Jose, California, USA, where the business development is also located. Our sales offices are in the United States, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Together we are 110 employees worldwide. Our team is growing and we are looking for new software talent to join our development team in Linköping.

About the job
In this highly visible role you will participate in the SW development and implementation work. You will also coordinate and lead the software project team to ensure that the software is integrated into a total software solution according to agreed specifications and ready to be delivered according to plan.

You will have a dialogue with our customers to set the requirements according to their needs for the mobile app functionality, and transfer them to the software development team for further design and implementation.

The emphasis of your work between leading the team and participation in software development will be determined based on the team need at the time and on your skills and interest. Regardless of the work content, you will work with many different persons and nationalities both in Sweden and other countries.

Who you are
We are looking for candidates that have a strong passion for, and previous knowledge in software development (Python, Linux and Web frontend development), combined with understanding and experience of working with many different internet protocols and standards. You also have an interest in and capability of working in a leading role managing a software development project.

You will be expected to work autonomously with our customers, suppliers, and the development team, and you will also be expected to deliver project phases on time. We are looking for someone with good abilities to communicate with many different people, to plan and organize your own work in a dynamic environment, and also to lead others. You need to be fluent in English. We will help you achieve your goals by continuous professional development in your work.
