Your role
In the role as an intern focusing on business development you will play a vital part in the transformation towards a sustainable future. The Utility team is responsible for our largest projects and is currently on a strong growth path both in Sweden and across Europe. You will join a high-performing and rapidly growing team working closely together in a creative and entrepreneurial environment. After a thorough onboarding you will be responsible for originating new potential off takers for green energy delivered from our large-scale solar farms as well finding new potential customers for utility scale solar. By establishing so called power purchase agreements (PPA), bank financing is enabled and thus a key to realize large scale solar.

Tasks and responsibilities:

- Establish contact with new potential off takers of green power
- Prospecting new customers for EPC projects
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Develop and drive opportunities together with the sales team in Utility
- Continuously mature and prioritize your pipeline
- Conduct presentation material for new customers


Location and duration
The intern position is primarily based at headquarters in Stockholm where the onboarding will take place but can also be home based. Working hours are flexible 10-20 hours a week during the semester but full time is expected during the last 2-3 weeks of August 2021 for a thorough onboarding. Currently planned start date is around middle of august. Preliminary end date is 31st December 2021 but could be extended for the right candidate.

Who are you?
Svea Solar has been operating on the Swedish market for solar since 2014 and has a team with experienced and highly competent people, ready to expand globally. The company now need to find the right person to help us drive the green transformation and realize large scale solar in Sweden.

Your qualifications and core competences include that you:

- Studying your 4th or 5th year in your master’s within engineering, business administration, economics or a similar degree
- Have an excellent analytical mindset, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Independent and fearless
- Are self-driven, extroverted all-rounder and result-oriented with a high level of creativity and persistency
- No previous experience or understanding of PPAs or EPC is needed but a curious mindset and passion for sustainable energy is an asset
